By providing hands-on, mentoring in the field, Bob Killen and his staff of national park Artist-in-Residence instructors will help you access intuitive, reflective ways of working that will lead you to create great landscape images.
Point Reyes National Seashore First Horizons Workshop Summary
First Horizons Workshops are perfect for those who wish to learn the basics of landscape art photography and Point Reyes’ diversity is a perfect location. The variety of subjects and compositional opportunities present incredible teachable moments for developing landscape photographers. Home to several cultures over thousands of years, the Seashore preserves a tapestry of stories and interactions of people. This 3-day class follows the light and explores Lighthouses, lagoon walks, miles of secluded beaches, historic ranches and ocean skylines.
Explore and Photograph: Drakes Beach, North Beach, Chimney Rock, Point Reyes Lighthouse, Pierce Ranch Ranch and more.

(This workshop includes all local and backcountry transportation, instructor tuition, course materials and meals in the field. All you need to do is arrive with your camera gear and laptop, and away you go to some of the most incredible photographic sites and professional hands-on training anywhere. Accommodations are not included in workshop fee)
