Join Hernan Godoy for a morning photo outing at The Huntington Beach Wetlands – Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. Instructor Hernan Godoy will begin the workshop with an hour of technical camera instruction. The class will then explore the wetlands. Throughout this workshop, Hernan keeps his keen eye out for interesting, unique photographic opportunities to share with his students along with instructing them on the best way to capture these opportunities.
Bolsa Chica is one of the best reserves in southern California any month of the year for breeding, migrating or wintering shore- and waterbirds. The boardwalk can offer fabulous close-ups of terns, ducks and waders.
Directions: Drive S from Los Angeles on the 405 freeway until Westminster. Turn off at Exit 18 and drive W on Golden West St; turn right onto Warner Ave. after 2 miles, turn left onto PCH after 3.2 miles. Follow PCH south for 1.5 miles, turn right into the Bolsa Chica State Beach and make an immediate turn back across PCH. Turn left for200 feet, then turn right into the parking lot of the Ecological Reserve.
