Embark on a journey with Samy’s Camera Photo School and photographer Aaron Hoffman as we not only go back in time to experience the history of this diverse city, but also appreciate the evolution of DTLA into its present state. This one of a kind photo tour will begin at the Los Angeles Central Library.
After meeting at the library, we’ll head to the Disney Concert Hall, then Downtown’s Historic Core. Our walk will span the landmark 1890’s Bradbury Building, Art Deco masterpieces and some more modern construction. We’ll have the opportunity to get some great food at Grand Central Market, then conclude back at the library.

More Information about our beloved Downtown:
Downtown Los Angeles’ architecture tells the story of the city’s growth. Dating back to the1880’s, Broadway was Los Angeles’ principal commercial and entertainment corridor while Bunker Hill to the west was covered with stately Victorian mansions. The area’s stylish residents rode down on Angel’s Flight to shop for groceries in the Grand Central Market’s open air arcade. These and other beloved Los Angeles landmarks like the LA Central Library and Bradbury Building show LA’s unique history through architecture, while newer structures like the Disney Concert Hall and Broad Museum show LA’s progress.
